The Green Bay Packers listed quarterback Jordan Love (knee) and cornerback Jaire Alexander (quad, groin) as questionable to play on the final injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 4 showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
As was the case last week, Love practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Alexander was limited with a quad injury on Wednesday and Thursday and then missed practice on Friday with an added groin injury.
LaFleur said “we’ll see” on Love’s status for Sunday and admitted it’s a “concern” when a player like Alexander misses a Friday practice.
Love has missed back-to-back games after injuring his knee in the season opener. Backup Malik Willis — who led the Packers to wins over the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans — would start a third consecutive game if Love can’t go on Sunday.
If available, Alexander figures to play a pivotal role in containing All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson. The Vikings are also returning 2023 first-round pick Jordan Addison from an ankle injury.
The Packers also listed cornerback Carrington Valentine as doubtful to play, and rookie offensive lineman Jordan Morgan is out for a second straight game with a shoulder injury.
Valentine’s injury could compound the issues at cornerback if Alexander can’t play. Corey Ballentine would be next in line to start opposite Eric Stokes if Alexander and Valentine aren’t available.
The Vikings ruled out linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. on the final injury report.
