Two of the best pass-rushers in Green Bay Packers history will go into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2024. The Packers announced Clay Matthews and Aaron Kampman will be inducted during the 53rd Hall of Fame Induction banquet on Aug. 29, 2024 inside Lambeau Field.
Matthews produced 83.5 sacks, 17 forced fumbles, six interceptions and two defensive touchdowns over 10 seasons (2009-18) and 143 games with the Packers. He was a first-round pick in 2009 and a member of the team’s Super Bowl XLV team in 2010. Matthews made six Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams (first team, 2010; second team, 2012).
Kampman, a fifth-round pick in 2002, produced 54 sacks over eight seasons (2002-09) and 114 games with the Packers. He finished second in the NFL in sacks in 2006 (15.5) and was a Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro in both 2006 and 2007.
Since 1982, Matthews and Kampman rank first and fifth in sacks by Packers, respectively.
