The Green Bay Packers ruled out two players and listed four others as questionable on the final injury report of Week 8.
Receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles (ankle) are both out, while offensive linemen David Bakhtiari (knee) and Elgton Jenkins (knee), receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), outside linebacker Rashan Gary (concussion protocol) are all questionable to play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
In Lazard and Jean-Charles, the Packers will be without their leading receiver in both yards and touchdowns and a core special teamer.
The offensive line has considerable question marks entering Sunday with both Bakhtiari and Jenkins questionable. If available, Bakhtiari and Jenkins would start on the left side of the offensive line. It’s unclear how the Packers would respond if neither can go.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur expressed optimism about the playing availability of Watson and Gary earlier on Friday.
The return of Watson, who missed the last two games, would provide an influx of speed, potentially providing a spark for the struggling offense. Gary’s presence is absolutely vital to the pass-rush.
The Bills ruled out right tackle Spencer Brown and listed running back Taiwan Jones as questionable.
