The Green Bay Packers have lost four straight games, but Matt LaFleur’s team will still be betting favorites against the Detroit Lions in Week 9.
Tipico Sportsbook has the Packers as 3.5-point favorites over the Lions as of Tuesday morning. The over/under is set at 49.5 points.
The Lions have just one win and are coming off a four-point home loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. Detroit has lost five straight and hasn’t won since Week 2 against Washington.
Since hiring LaFleur, the Packers have won five of six games against the Lions, with the lone loss coming in last season’s finale at Ford Field.
The Packers have lost three straight games straight up as a favorite. Green Bay did cover as a 10.5-point underdog last week in Buffalo.
While still a favorite in Week 9, it appears sportsbooks have finally cooled on the Packers, who are 3-5 after eight games.
