The Green Bay Packers announced the re-signings of cornerback Keisean Nixon and running back A.J. Dillon on Friday.
The pair combined to play 1,527 total snaps on offense, defense and special teams last season.
Nixon, a two-time All-Pro kickoff returner, played in all 19 games for the Packers last season, including the playoffs. He was the defense’s starter in the slot. The former Raider leads the NFL in kickoff returns and kickoff return yardage over the last two seasons. He also handled one touch on offense in 2023: an 11-yard run in Week 3.
Dillon, a 2020 second-round pick, has 3,191 total yards and 18 total touchdowns over 60 career games. He’s handled 200 or more touches in each of the last three seasons, all as Aaron Jones’ backup. He’ll compete to be the top backup behind Josh Jacobs in 2024.
The Packers have re-signed Nixon, Dillon, tight end Tyler Davis, linebacker Kristian Welch and cornerback Corey Ballentine. The team also signed Jacobs and safety Xavier McKinney in free agency.
