The Green Bay Packers escaped Soldier Field with a dramatic 20-19 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday after Jordan Love scored a go-ahead touchdown and Karl Brooks blocked a field goal attempt as time expired.
The victory extended the Packers’ win streak over the Bears to 11 games, a new record in the rivalry.
The Packers took a 7-0 lead on a free-play touchdown pass from Love to Jayden Reed on the opening possession, but the Bears scored 13 straight points to take a 13-7 lead in the third quarter. Josh Jacobs’ 7-yard touchdown run re-took the lead for the Packers, but the Bears immediately responded with a 39-yard touchdown run from D’Andre Swift.
It took a wild fourth quarter to determine a winner in the latest showdown of the NFL’s longest running rivalry.
