More than 600 talented young footballers from across the region descended on Argyll Park last week for the final weekend of the Dunbartonshire Youth Football League season.
Over 60 teams were in action during a packed weekend of football, with 2011s, 2015s and 2016s sides all taking to the pitch.
Joanne McLaren, DYFL league co-ordinator, said: ÃÃÃâIÃÃÃâm delighted weÃÃÃâve had another successful year with all the local grassroots football teams participating in the league and a massive well done from the league to the 2016 teams on finishing their first season at fun fours.
ÃÃÃâItÃÃÃâs amazing to see so many children in West Dunbartonshire playing football at grassroots level with 2011, 2015, 2014 and 2016 leagues playing on Sundays at Argyll Park.
ÃÃÃâAcross the league last weekend we saw over 66 teams and in excess of 600 kids taking part each week.ÃÃÃâ
Andy Haig, head coach of Vale of LevenÃÃÃâs 2011, 2015 and 2016 teams, said: ÃÃÃâVale of Leven are very proud to be a part of the DYFL, playing locally and giving our teams the opportunity to make new friends.
ÃÃÃâGrassroots football is a critical part in their early development learning and developing new skills whilst having fun.
ÃÃÃâItÃÃÃâs been my pleasure and that of my fellow coaches seeing the team develop over the last year.

Jon Anderson, head coach of Yoker Athletic 2011s, added: ÃÃÃâDevelopment is key for any team and the DYFL has certainly given us that opportunity, with Yoker Athletic 2011s in their first year itÃÃÃâs been a perfect fit for us to grow as a team.
