Feeling a sense of urgency, Zar made the decision to evacuate her family from their home. Zar swiftly gathered essential items such as passports, valuables, pictures, chargers, phones, and laptops, preparing for the possibility that they might not return to their house.
With adrenaline pumping, Zar and her family left the area, witnessing open flames in their backyard and neighboring yards as they drove away. The situation became increasingly unsettling as embers landed on front yards, igniting fires in their path.
Now residing in Redondo Beach, California, Zar emphasized the importance of staying connected with loved ones and staying informed through news updates. The community is coming together to share well wishes, exchange information, and support one another during this challenging time.
