Argentina star Pablo Matera refused to shake the hand of opponent Dane Coles in the immediate aftermath of New Zealand's thumping 53-3 victory.
As the players exchanged post-match sportsmanship following the final whistle, Matera refused the offer of Coles' hand, instead shoving him forcefully in the shoulder.
Coles himself looked displeased with the reaction but the pair moved on to shake hands with other players.
Details are yet to emerge about what sparked the snub, although the pair were involved in a scuffle late in the game after Matera appeared to be angered by something Coles said. The All Blacks hooker has a reputation for sledging and winding up opponents.
Matera had earlier grinned his way through the All Blacks haka ahead of the match but is friendly with a number of the New Zealand players having played for the Crusaders last season.
The post-match incident was picked up by Sky Sports' cameras and has become a talking point among fans and the media in New Zealand.
