Ozzy Osbourne's walking struggles continue after needing assistance for appointment

Ozzy Osbourne continued to battle against his ongoing health issues by being as active as possible despite his walking struggles.

The Black Sabbath singer needed the assistance of a helper when attending an appointment in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Ozzy, who recently turned 74, has been spotted using a cane in recent months but the rocker did not need his walking aid as he got back into his car with only the help of a facility work, who placed a hand on his back for support as he stepped into the vehicle.

He still looked like the rock star that he has always been as he donned black tracksuit trousers, a black jumper and a blue overcoat, while also wearing a face mask.

Despite his health problems, Ozzy got into the Christmas spirit in true goth style with a personalised Christmas jumper and a dark expression alongside daughter Kelly and Billy Idol guitarist and pal Billy Morrison.

Ozzy refused to smile for the photo which he shared on his Instagram account - he has 5.2 million followers - in the lead-up to Christmas and, in true rock fashion, wrote the caption: "Bah, Humbug!"

Ozzy had recently opened up about his mobility problems in an interview with SiriusXM and admitted how life had become "frustrating as f***".

He said: "It is so f****** tough because, I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it. The thing is my head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can’t f****** walk much now."

The Prince of Darkness added: "I can’t begin to tell you how f****** frustrating life has become. It is amazing how you go along in life and one stupid thing can screw everything up for a long time. I have never been ill this long in my life.

"When I was a downbeat drunken drug addict I would not be out this long. It is just as frustrating as f***."

Ozzy has struggled with his health following a severe fall at his home in 2019 which required several neck and back surgeries, in addition to a Parkinson's diagnosis. Before that he damaged his neck in a quad bike accident in 2003.
