Ozzy Osbourne apologises to Britney Spears over 'sad' dance video comments

Ozzy Osbourne has apologised to Britney Spears after upsetting her by criticising dancing videos she posted online.

The Toxic singer, 42, told the former Black Sabbath frontman and his family to “kindly f**k off” after they shared their thoughts on her TikTok and Instagram antics during an episode of their podcast The Osbournes.

During the episode which was released on July 16, the Crazy Train hitmaker said he was “fed up” of seeing “poor old Britney Spears” dancing “every f***ing day... it’s sad, very, very sad.”

Agreeing, his son Jack, 38, declared “save Britney”, in reference to the viral campaign to release Spears from her conservatorship, while daughter Kelly, 39, said she felt “sorry” for her.

Spears was not impressed by their remarks, responding via her social media profiles: “I’m gonna... tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f*** off!”

The family have now addressed the backlash they received as a result in the latest episode of their podcast, which dropped July 29 and sees Kelly ask if they can apologise to Spears.

“Britney, I really owe you an apology,” Ozzy began. “I’m so sorry for making that comment.

“However,” he continued, “it would be better if you didn’t do the same f***ing dance every day. Change a few movements.”

Trying to get the apology back on track, Kelly then chimed in urging Spears to “never stop dancing”.

“I love your dancing, it makes you happy and I’m so sorry if any of us offended you,” she said.

“I really do apologise,” Ozzy repeated. “I love you and I think you’re beautiful.”
