Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne are quitting Los Angeles and returning to the UK after 20 years stateside due to rising taxes in California.
The Black Sabbath legend, 73, and his wife, 69, are to head back to their home Welders House, in Buckinghamshire, with him having spoken about their plans recently.
The singer-songwriter explained: "We are leaving LA. We are a bit sad. But the tax is getting too much. I am sad because I really really like staying and living there."
The Grammy Award winner further commented: "If they do the taxes better then I may come back. I do not know."
"I am taking my recording studio with me. I am going to build a barn there and make my own studio at Welders. I will still be making music and my band will come over," he added.
It's understood that the US federal tax rate is 28%. And there is an additional 13% state tax in California, which the award-winning musician is said to pay on all his profits.
Ozzy has also spoken about how he is battling mental health problems as he struggled to cope with Parkinson's, the pandemic and recovery from operations.
The father-of-eight revealed that he ended up seeking therapy, with him sharing his views on such treatment.
He explained: "Over the past three years I have got a therapist. When I was a kid in England, you would not go to a therapist because they’d think you were f*****g crazy."
The singer-songwriter further commented: "It is OK. You ain't stupid for going to a f*****g therapist, but you are stupid not to go if you need them."

The musician opened his heart about his mental health struggles on Sirius XM's Ozzy Boneyard Channel. He has spoken about how painting helped him during difficult times.
He said: "Doing my little doodles and drawings is something that I have found that has stopped me in my head from killing me. It gets your head out of your own head."
Ozzy continued: "Me left to my own devices is always a bad f*****g idea. I wake up in the mornings and get a weird feeling, like a cloud of doom over me."
After moving to Los Angeles, the singer and his family starred on MTV reality show the Osbournes, which debuted in 2002. His family subsequently built careers for themselves stateside.
Ozzy and Sharon are now working on a biopic of their lives with Polygram Entertainment, a partner of Universal Music Group. She's said to also be in talks for her own chat show in the UK.
It has been announced that Ozzy postponed his UK and European tour with Judas Priest for a second time recently. The tour has now been pushed back to next year.
