A man will appear in court charged with attempted murder after an attack on a bus left another man fighting for his life in hospital.
The victim, 25, suffered a serious head injury as the 94 bus travelled down Oxford Street at 10.15pm on Tuesday.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Oscar Castano-Colque, 20, of Woodfarrs Road in Lambeth, was arrested in Lambeth on Friday, the Met said.
He has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon and was due to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
