Tributes have poured in for the owner of a much-loved Glasgow restaurant following his death.
Matthew Ndungu, commonly known as Baba Nyax, ran The Calabash African restaurant on Union Street in the city centre for over a decade.
The restaurant - considered to be Glasgow's authentic African restaurant - is a cultural hub for many Africans living in Scotland and beyond, and featured on Channel 4 show Come Dine With Me: The Professionals last month.

The sad news of Baba Nyax's passing was confirmed by his family, who said that he "was and will always be a strong tower in the community".
Posting on the Calabash Facebook page, they wrote: "It is with a heavy heart and deepest sadness that we announce the passing of a great, kind, generous man and community leader Matthew Ndungu (Baba Nyax).
"God truly blessed him a wonderful life full of love from his beautiful wife Elizabeth (Mama Nyax), children and his beloved grandchildren who truly adored him.
"Baba Nyax touched a lot of hearts and he was and will always be a strong tower in the community. We have truly lost a great man but gained an angel who will remain in our hearts and minds forever."
The funeral procession will pass by Calabash at 10am on Monday, August 29, allowing members of the community to wave farewell to Baba Nyax, with the funeral service taking place shortly after at Daldowie Crematorium.
