Owen Warner tucks into pizza, chips and cake as he tries to gain 8kg he lost in jungle

Owen Warner is enjoying trying to gain the weight during his time on this year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The Hollyoaks actor, 23, took to social media earlier today to poke fun at his love of food, as he settles back into life on the outside world following Sunday night's live final.

Owen, who finished second behind Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott, told his fans how he trying to gain weight after losing over a stone thanks to his jungle diet of mainly rice and beans.

The soap star made no secret of the fact he was missing his grub during his time in camp, with ITV viewers left devastated last week when the hungry actor missed out on winning some chocolate brownies thanks to the campmates failing the daily Deals on Wheels challenge.

As Owen and Chris Moyles were told they had answered the question wrong, and watched the plate of brownies disappear, the hungry Hollyoaks star collapsed to the floor with his head in his hands and was inconsolable.

But Owen is wasting no time enjoying all sorts of sweet treats and meals now he's out of the jungle.

In a collection of snaps shared to his Instagram page today, the I'm A Celebrity runner-up can be seen enjoying a dish while having his hair cut, in addition to a picture of him wolfing down a burger in a local restaurant.

Speaking after Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity final, Owen explained how he entered the jungle weighing 13st 3oz, but drastically left over a stone lighter at 12st 2oz.

He told the Mirror: "I have eaten a lot since I left. I was getting a haircut while eating my pizza like anytime he was cutting my hair, he stopped for a second and I was shoving pizza in my mouth.

"I would also recommend it. I don't think now I am going to get a trim without food!"

The gym addict went on to say: "I am 78kg, I was 85kg when I went in but give me a week and I will be back to 85.

"This week I reckon I am just going to eat as much as I can, pile it on and start gym next week I reckon."

I'm A Celebrity's latest winner Jill also discussed how she got through the three weeks on minimal rice and beans rations.

“I wasn’t too bad to be honest," she told the Mirror. "They were monitoring us and obviously it was just the hunger element, you don’t know how many calories you’re having but you’re well looked after."
