Owen Warner's mum jokes he 'loves taking his top off' as shower scenes sends fans wild

Owen Warner 's mum has said she is "blown away" by his I'm A Celebrity performance but is finding it hard to be apart from him for so long.

Polly Warner said: "I think he's got a good chance of going a fair way in it. He seems to get on with everybody well and he's having a laugh, as long as he enjoys it, that's the main thing.

"It's the longest we've been apart. I talk to him three times a day. In fact he FaceTimed me on the plane on the way to Australia."

As for her lad's famous six-pack, she added: "He does like taking his top off but if you work hard on your physique then why not?"

Polly arrived in Australia earlier today (November 17) ahead of the first eviction of the latest series. She's among the family and friends of campmates' who have headed out.

Like other loved ones, she was photographed at Brisbane Airport after landing in the country. She was seen smiling as she pushed her luggage through the airport earlier.

Owen has been in camp for around two weeks. His campmates on the ITV show - which returned earlier this month - include fellow actor Sue Cleaver and footballer Jill Scott.

Polly said she suspects her son considers Sue "a mum figure" in the camp. She expects that he has "probably spoken to her quite a lot" whilst being away from his family at home.

Discussing the latter, Polly said: "I love seeing Owen with Jill." She further commented: "When they were playing keepie uppies [it was] amazing. Absolutely amazing."

She added that she imagines he "gets on with everybody" in the camp, which is located in the jungle. She explained: "Because he is that kind of person."

I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow night (November 18) on ITV and ITV Hub. And you can catch up on previous episodes of the latest series through ITV Hub.
