Owen Warner's I'm A Celebrity win 'under threat' after Seann Walsh's jungle exit

Owen Warner's fans fear he may not survive to the I'm a Celebrity final — after bookies slashed odds of the former favourite which could see him miss out on winning the show.

With Hollyoaks actor Owen gaining popularity as the week's went by, fans may have predicted he was past the point where he could fail to reach the final.

The bookies had seemingly, narrowed it down to three possible winners of the show ahead of last night's eviction, with Jill Scott trailed by Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner ( 5/1) and England Rugby's World Cup winning centre Mike Tindall (8/1 ).

But since eventual evictee Sean Walsh had their fate revealed to them by hosts Ant and Dec last night Warner's chances to be crowned King of The Jungle were slashed.

According to online bookies compiler Oddschecker Warner is (9/1), Mike Tindall 18/1, and Lioness Jill Scott stand out favourite at 2/5 ahead of Matt Hancock at 1/5.

Meanwhile last night's departure saw comedian and ex Strictly star Seann appear emotional as he said he was 'overwhelmed' by the experience.

But as customary particularly at such a late stage in the competition fans flooded social media after the result and were stunned as Matt Hancock remained safe from getting the boot.

One took to Twitter to post: "OWEN WAS IN THE BOTTOM TWO??? PARDON??" A second, equally shocked, tweeted: "Owen being in the bottom two and not matt Hancock. Is this a joke?"

Another fan of the show tried to calm the fury reassuring fans that the announcement was meant to be in 'random order' .

One fan posted: ''Just because Owen was called in the bottom two doesn't mean the votes reflect that, look at the past voting data"

Meanwhile viewers have been offered a preview of what to expect in tonight's penultimate episode as the remaining trio take on the Celebrity Cyclone.

Fans of the show will welcome it's return as the popular trial could not be re-created in the wilds of the Celebrity castle in Wales.

The teaser shows remaining celebs, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Lioness Jill Scott and Owen Warner face being pelted with high pressure water in their colourful caped outfits.

I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9.15pm on ITV
