Ambitious League One club Queen's Park are reportedly set to make Owen Coyle their new manager.
The Spiders sacked head coach Laurie Ellis earlier this year with director of football Marijn Beuker taking the role in the meantime.
They've been inconsistent but remain in the driving seat for a playoff spot having moved six points ahead of fifth-placed Falkirk at the weekend.
Experienced coach Coyle is currently in charge of Indian side Jamshedpur where he won the league last season.
But The Courier report a deal has been struck to bring him back to Scotland where he will spearhead a promotion push now the Indian season has concluded.
Coyle has managed a number of teams in Scotland having started his career as co-manager of Falkirk alongside John Hughes.
He went on to manage St Johnstone before moving south where he enjoyed success with Bolton Wanderers and Burnley.
Coyle last managed in Scotland in 2018 when he left Ross County but it is now being reported he will return for another crack at Scottish football with Queen's Park.
