Billie Eilish is returning for another year of Overheated, an event that brings together climate activists, musicians, and designers to discuss the climate crisis.
The 21-year-old has made numerous public pronouncements about climate change over the past few years, been open about her battles with climate anxiety, and slipped stark metaphors like “the world is burning” into her visuals.
Additionally, she has made an effort to make her tours as environmentally friendly as possible by installing water-refill stations, recycling bins, and informational kiosks where fans can find out more about the crisis’s effects.
The Overheated event, which was first held last year, will consist of community-building exercises, roller-skating, panel discussions as well as plant-based food from Neat Burger.
Here is everything you need to know, from when tickets go on sale to who will be attending.
When do tickets go on sale?
Ticket sales open on August 16 at 10am BST. But don't worry if you are unable to get tickets; in collaboration with Mercury Studios, the entire event will also be live-streamed globally on Eilish's official YouTube channel.
The event will be hosted by Abbie McCarthy and will begin at 10am, finishing at 5pm on Wednesday, August 30.
How to get tickets
Tickets will be sold on Live Nation.
The event is set to be held in Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace, in the heart of White City.
Who else will be at Billie Eilish’s London climate party?
Earthrise CEO Alice Eady, businesswoman Samata Pattinson, and climate activists Dominique Palmer and Tori Tsui are all expected to talk at the event. Eilish's mother, Maggie Baird, will also be present, because she co-organised Overheated with her business, Support + Feed, which strives to combat the food crisis and climate change by supporting a plant-based food system.
Additional attendees will be revealed soon.
