More than 100 individuals have required treatment for heat-related illnesses while awaiting former President Donald Trump's rally in Glendale, Arizona, as reported by The Arizona Republic. Assistant Chief Tim Pirtle from the Glendale Fire Department mentioned that the high number of patients hindered firefighters' ability to promptly provide care and transport them to the hospital.
CNN has made inquiries to the Glendale Fire Department and the mayor's office to gather additional details. The current temperature in Glendale stands at 106 degrees, according to the CNN Weather Team. This incident follows a similar occurrence in June when 11 people had to be taken to hospitals due to heat exhaustion during a Trump event in Phoenix.
