Over one million fans tuned into Ireland's Six Nations victory over England on RTE Two on Saturday evening.
Andy Farrell's men have teed up a chance to seal a Triple Crown against Scotland next weekend after the Twickenham triumph.
Usually the most watched match of Ireland's Six Nations campaign, an average audience of 775,000 were on RTE Two for their coverage of the game - a 61 percent share of those watching television.
And at the peak of viewership during the closing minutes of the game as Ireland pulled away from the Red Rose, as many as 1,008,000 were watching on.
As well as those watching on television, a further 103,000 also streamed the game on the RTE Player during a huge weekend for Irish sport.
Friday night's Six Nations showdown between Wales and France attracted an average of 296,000 viewers and a peak of 364,000.
In GAA, RTE Two's coverage of Kerry v Mayo from the Allianz Football League was watched by an average of 362,000 with a 30 percent share peaking at 461,000.
