Over 1.8 billion riyals in donations have been received by Saudi Arabia's National Campaign for Charitable Work (Ehsan) in the nine days since its launch, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Sunday.
A total of 1,841,137,724 billion riyals have been donated so far through 24 million transactions that will benefit 4,604,247 people.
Ehsan was launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) on the seventh day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Ehsan credits its success to the support it receives from the Kingdom's leadership and the ongoing follow-up from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SDAIA.
His backing is an extension of his great interest in supporting and developing the charitable work sector in a way that contributes to the development of society.
