Outlander star Sam Heughan spotted in Glasgow's West End enjoying Sunday lunch date

Outlander superstar Sam Heughan was spotted on Sunday afternoon having a tipple or two in Glasgow's West End, as he relaxed for his weekend off.

The Scottish actor enjoyed a glass of fizz, and what looks to be an aperol spritz at Crabshakk Botanics on Vinicombe Street, reports the Daily Record.

The new restaurant, that opened in April, is run by the same bosses who own one of Glasgow's most loved seafood eateries, Crabshakk in Finnieston.

The original restaurant is used to famous faces, as it played host to footballing legend David Beckham in 2019, as part of his tour to promote whisky brand, Haig Club.

Sam, who also has released his own whisky Sassenach, was looking fairly relaxed, according to eagle-eyed passers-by.

The actor, who has a property in Glasgow, was looking casual in a black, fitted t-shirt, showing off his muscles that we are all familiar with - remember those Suspect photos?

The 42-year-old also appeared to have his motorbike parked outside the restaurant, as he rested the helmet on the seat next to him.

The Dumfrieshire-born star told his fans he was 'ready to relax' at the weekend, after being involved in a whole host of exciting projects recently.

Some of these exciting prospects include promoting his new book, filming for Channel 4 drama Suspect, and filming for the newest season of Outlander - of course.
