Sam Heughan has been eyeing up some iconic British reality TV shows, and even admits he'd like a shot on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The Dumfries born actor, who is best known for his role as Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in Outlander, has recently starred in the new Channel 4 drama Suspect as bad boy Ryan. During a recent interview with BBC Scotland's The Edit, Heughan spoke about his reality TV ambitions.
Interviewer David Farrell asks the 42-year-old actor about his bucket list ambitions to take part in BBC Scotland's Adventure Show, where Sam jumps at the question. Anyone who is a fan of the actor knows he is a passionate outdoorsman, and is even releasing a memoir later this year which will detail his experience solo hiking 100 miles of the West Highland way.

"What would you not do?" David asks Sam: "Don't say no, don't say you're happy with everything."
Sam quips: "Not really. I'd do any of it. I love it. I love kayaking and hiking and mountain biking and skydiving. I dunno I'd do it all." He adds: "Creepy crawlies I'm not so keen on." Posing the all important question, David queries: "So you'd never go in the jungle? I'm A Celeb?" Sam responds: "Actually no, I'd do that as well. Yeah I would. Probably Love Island is the only thing I wouldn't do."
Opening up about the new season of Outlander in the interview, Sam admits the cast and crew will be shooting until next year as the latest season is 16 episodes long. Speaking of Droughtlander, Sam adds fans who are missing the show can re-watch old seasons, or better yet - watch his new drama Suspect to 'keep the drought off'.
