Outlander's Sam Heughan has revealed he's written a new book about his own adventure and he can't wait to show it to fans.
Sam, who plays hearthrob Jamie Fraser in time travelling drama Outlander, based on the books by Diana Gabaldon has become something of an author in recent years.
He's also got numerous telly projects like Men In Kilts and films on the go and has his own Sassenach spirits brand.
Now he has revealed to pal Josh Horowitz on his Happy, Sad Confused podcast that he has even more up his sleeve.
Josh said: 'You guys have the books Clanlands. You've got the TV show Men in kilts. I feel like the Empire is spreading is there? What's the business venture? That's what's next? What's the next business venture?
"We've got all the spirits, got the books, we've got the TV show. What is coming up next? I mean, did you always have that kind of entrepreneurial spirit like growing up?"
Sam replied: "I think it's honestly working on the show which is amazing and just getting all these opportunities, and I think I just realised that there are other avenues to explore and I hope they do well, but it's a great sort of creative outlet, I think.
"And I really enjoy the sort of side projects I mean, there's there's a lot going on, but yeah, I mean, why not?"
As well as saying there may 'possibly' be a third Clanlands book to go along with the new Men In Kilts season, Sam revealed his personal project.
He said: "I'm actually doing a book for myself. I do have a co writer, but we've been working on something for a while and it's based on a sort of biography meets an adventure that I undertook at the end of October last year."
A look back at our diary shows Sam was in New York and Chicago in October to attend comic con conventions and launched his own Write Start award at the Royal Conservatoire for new talents so we wonder if it has something to do with that?
We can't wait to see.
