Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish have been nominated for an award alongside Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
Sam, 41, and Graham, 61, who co-wrote Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other have been nominated for an Audie Award alongside great company.
The awards are due to take place on March 4 and they celebrate the best titles in audio publishing and spoken-word entertainment, honouring a varied group of actors, musicians, and politicians.
Sam, from Dumfries, took to Twitter to share his delight at the nomination writing: "So proud the audible version of “Clanlands” has made it io the final of the #audieawards! Great company to keep huh @grahammctavish?!"
Fans were absolutely buzzing at the news and could not be happier.
One wrote: "Great Company indeed! Congrats to #SamHeughan and @grahammctavish for making it into the “Finals” of the #AudieAwards for your wonderfully hilarious and informative #Clanlands "
Another said: "You and Graham well deserve this award. (That is a total understatement!) Both audio books are super duper fantastic. I hope an award is in the works next year for #ClanlandsAlmanac as well. I LOVE it. Already anxious for book #3 about NZ."

The Outlander actors, best known for their roles as Jamie Fraser and Dougal Mackenzie, have been nominated as finalists in the History/Biography category.
The Sunday Times Bestseller sees the fan-favourite duo travel around their homeland Scotland getting involved in all sorts of adventures.
Sam and Graham are amongst good company with the other nominees which include Barak Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Dave Grohl.
