Ousmane Dembele has made his Chelsea transfer feelings known with cryptic two-word message

Chelsea target Ousmane Dembele has already made his feelings well known with a certain two-word tweet posted in the past which will help make it easy for the Barcelona contract rebel to settle into his new surroundings if he was to complete his free transfer from Spain this summer.

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is looking to put his money where his mouth is in the early days of his Clearlake Capital consortium axis and it is being reported that the free transfer acquisition of the Frenchman will signal intent to the rest of the league for what is to come. The 25-year-old, who nearly signed on the dotted line in the last January transfer window, is set to become a free agent imminently at the end of the month with Barcelona reportedly 'fed up' with his agent Moussa Sissoko, just like they were in January.

“He is a very good player when he is in his top-level," Tuchel said back in January. "I am very fortunate to have trained him in my time at Dortmund. It was only one year, it should have been longer. I needed to leave and he decided to leave."

What makes this deal even likelier to happen now though compared to last mid-season is the current financial predicament that the Catalan giants find themselves in. Their inability to register new signings or even renew the contracts of the likes of Sergi Roberto mean that the likes of Dembele and his compatriot Frenkie de Jong can complete their respective moves away to the Premier League this summer.

football.london understands that the club are in contractual negotiations with the winger's camp but an agreement has not yet been reached. A transfer to west London could have a domino effect. Liverpool, who are set to lose Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, could then try and poach Christian Pulisic away from the club despite Boehly wanting to use the Hershey born forward to maximise and capitalise on the American market in regards to growing the Blues fanbase further.

Regardless of the chain effect which could unfold if the Tuchel favourite completes his long-anticipated move to England, one thing that is for certain is his clear like of the Blues which stretches back a long time. A certain tweet back in 2013 has sent certain fans into a frenzy online.

After the memorable first UEFA Champions League title won under Roman Abramovich in Munich, Dembele like many other outsiders watching in, was impressed with what Didier Drogba and Robert Di Matteo alike were able to do against the Bavarians who went into the contest clear favourites.

He tweeted back at the time: "Ohh Chelsea."

Supporters will be saying the same 'ohh Chelsea' term if Boehly were to kick-off his era with the former Les Bleus international's acquisition. Something that is highly probable too now that main competitors Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly putting all their efforts into signing Arsenal's Nicolas Pepe.
