Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen delights fans with rare pic of Edith and Sidney

Amanda Owen has delighted Our Yorkshire Farm fan thanks to sharing a rare snap of two of her children online.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 47, took to Instagram earlier this week to share some adorable snaps of her kids alongside a litter of puppies, Edith and Sidney cuddling up to the little dogs on the family farm.

Over recent weeks, while her Channel 5 show is currently off-air, Amanda has been keeping her social media followers updating about how she and her kids are spending the summer holidays, but it's been a while since Edith and Sidney made a cameo in any of her snaps.

Amanda - who announced her split from husband Clive, 69, earlier this year - thrilled fans recently when she shared even more snaps involving all our her children, as Our Yorkshire Farm fans wait for a new series of the much-loved show.

"Lovely to see Sidney and Edith again. Look at Clemmie and the puppy there always seems to be a bond between her and animals. What will she be when she grows up, I wonder," one fan told Amanda on Instagram, with another adding: "What a great start in life these puppies have."

"So lovely for the children to have puppies," a third quipped, as another of Amanda's Instagram followers added: "Will you be coming back to our screens soon?"

Amanda and her estranged husband Clive are parents to nine children together who, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy.

21-year-old Raven is currently studying bio-medical science in York, while 17-year-old Reuben has flown the nest to start an apprenticeship as a mechanic. Taking to Twitter earlier this month, Amanda revealed her eldest daughter Raven is working as an NHS volunteer.

Last year, Amanda opened up to the Mirror Online about how having so many children at home sometimes impacts her ability to get a good night's sleep.

"Having nine kids at home is not continuative with good sleep patterns, I can tell you. I mean, you've got all the issues with homeschooling and questioning yourself about what is going to happen to the world and whether you're doing the right thing," she said when discussing how she handled lockdowns during the pandemic.

The Channel 5 star went on to confess she had fallen victim to bad habits with technology, saying: "Everybody has been affected. There are no two people that are alike and during this past year, there has been no blue print on how to cope and quite often, that manifests itself with sleepless nights.

"I've been laid there, doomscrolling and worrying about what the future held. It's been terrible."

Amanda confirmed her split from her spouse of 21 years on Instagram in June, after months of rumours and speculation regarding the state of their relationship.

She wrote, in a joint statement: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."

The statement continued: "Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."

The former couple thanked everyone for their support and asked for privacy during this "difficult time".

It was then reported their marriage split could air on the next series of Our Yorkshire Farm, as the Channel 5 show is set to continue despite the pair calling it quits on their romance.
