'Our Viking' - Man City fans delighted as Erling Haaland scores on debut vs Bayern Munich

Manchester City fans have shared their delight after Erling Haaland marked his debut with a goal against Bayern Munich. Before kick-off there was a ten-minute delay due to thunderstorm warnings in the Green Bay area. Once the action did get underway City wasted no time impressing the 78,000-strong crowd.

A through-ball by Kevin De Bruyne saw Jack Grealish break the German outfit's offside trap. The former Villa man delivered a low, hard cross for Haaland to stab home on the slide.

If the Norwegian hadn't tapped home, Nathan Ake looked a shoe-in to score. Immediately following the goal, all players departed the pitch due to another weather delay.

The 22-year-old was replaced at half time but he would end up securing the headlines as City managed to see out the game 1-0. Reacting to the striker's impressive debut, City fans could not help but share their delight.
