Our Liverpool: 'We've got you' vow after mum collapses in Turkey

Hello and welcome to Our Liverpool.

The friend of a mum currently on life support in a a Turkish intensive care unit has pledged "we've got you." Melissa Kinsella is fighting for her life after suddenly collapsing at the airport as she and her family were about to fly home from holiday.

She had suffered a seizure that caused her heart to stop, and the family faces a £42,000 bill to bring her home. A fundraiser for Melissa has now reached £32,000, with her friend Rebecca saying: ""Melissa Bridget Kinsella you’re gonna be like Wirral's Kim Kardashian when you wake up with your face plastered everywhere. But we’ve got this, we’ve got you.

"We love you and we’re gonna get you home."

David Ungi's family cheer as he's cleared of murdering Vinny Waddington

The friends and family of David Ungi cheered yesterday as the 30-year-old was cleared of the murder of 18-year-old Vinny Waddington, who was "gunned down in cold blood" after a crash in Garston in 2015. Ungi was arrested in Spain, after leaving the UK on a ferry to France the day after the fatal shooting and was not found for seven years.

'Luckiest mum' put money on lottery after rare find in park

Perhaps the luckiest mum in Merseyside put money on the lottery after she found a staggering 29 four leaf clovers. Katie Lyon, from Gateacre, was walking with her family including her 22 month-old son, when she came across dozens of the elusive clovers.

People told to leave their homes within weeks in 'illegal eviction attempt'

People living in a block of over 100 flats in Toxteth were told they would all have to leave within a matter of weeks in what council bosses are investigating as a possible "illegal" eviction attempt. Residents of Parliament place on Upper Parliament Street in March after being told there was a serious fire safety issue at the block.

Though it shortly emerged the company which owns the building was in the process of negotiating with Serco and the Home Office to house asylum seekers at the block as part of an “emergency housing scheme.”
