Bully snapped ten of his girlfriend's phones when drunk
A man subjected his partner to a campaign of horrific abuse that included holding an aze over her head while telling her "this is the end." Anthony Fox started a relationship with Ashley Lunt in September 2021 before he started controlling the passwords for her social media accounts, regularly threatening to kill her if she left him and assaulting her on "more than 10 occasions."
The "relationship came to a breaking point" in March last year.
Two arrests after man stabbed in barber shop brawl
Today police confirmed they have made arrests after a man was stabbed after a fight between a gang of men in Groom Barber Shop on Aigburth Road on Tuesday. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding with intent and police ask anyone with information into the incident to come forward.
Blue and Yellow Submarine parade to take over Liverpool
Tomorrow the Blue and Yellow Submarine parade will take over Liverpool as elaborate floats and submarine structures filled with colour changing lights venture through the city centre. Taking centre stage at the parade will be a giant jellyfish puppet with glowing innards.
