A mum said she had to try her hardest "not to cry" in front of her son after she received devastating news after her youngest went through an MRI scan. Lyndsey Rowe, from Hunts Cross, noticed her son Mason's face had fallen to one side just days after they were on holiday.
"Everything was perfectly fine" before she and husband Robert realised Mason had had a stroke. He would spend the following months in and out of hospital, having MRI scans and CT scans, while they waited for doctors to operate.

A horrified daughter held her dad in his final moments after he had returned to his mum-in-law's home from the chip shop. Nicky Ayers, 46, was shot seven times at close range by a gunman who has still not been caught thirteen years ago.
His daughter Lyndsay woke up to the sound of the shots and ran out to find her dad in his final moments.
Who went through on day one of Eurovision
Yesterday 10 countries made it through the first Eurovision semi-final and will go on to compete in Saturday's Grand Final. Sweden's Loreen, a past winner, was one of those who who qualified for the main event.
The second semi-final will take place tomorrow, with Denmark and Belgium amongst those hoping to make it through.
