Our Liverpool: Miserable Monday after wonderful Easter weekend

Hello and welcome to Our Liverpool.

Many of you will probably still be wrapped up enjoying a nice Easter Monday lie in while reading this, but for those who aren't Good Morning and I hope you managed to have an enjoyable Easter weekend. If you were out and about over the Easter break then you'll know how disappointing this wet Monday weather is.

But there could be worse still to come, as a yellow weather warning has been put in place from tomorrow morning, but hopefully it gets nicer by the end of the week in time for the Grand National.

I went to my first football match and loved it

Football is ubiquitous in and around Liverpool but there are some people who have never been to a game in their life. Our weekend reporter Danny Rigg, not a massive footy fan, is one such person but thought "why not?" when invited to the women's Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.

Mystery of young dad's tragic murder as a third year passes since

It has been three years since young dad Kyle Whitley, 18, was stabbed and killed in broad daylight on a road in Litherland. But still no charges have been brought despite five arrests in connection with the incident.

Police say they believe there are people out there with information into his tragic death and are appealing for them to come forward. They said: "No murder case is ever closed and we want to continue to appeal for any information so his family can finally see justice."

Those who feed Liverpool have spoken about just how healthy the city's gastronomic scene is despite the fact no restaurants in the city have a lauded Michelin star. Chefs said they used to think you'd have to move away from Liverpool to cook at the highest levels, but have since realised what they were looking for may be a little closer to home.
