Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Our Liverpool.

This new feature showcases the best of ECHO content so you'll never have to miss the most important talking points on Merseyside. It's been a challenging week in the world of news but as ever our writers have been doing their best to keep you abreast of all the goings on - good and bad - across our region.

The result means Liverpool stay eighth in the WSL table - five points above Leicester, who remain bottom of the league. But while Beard was disappointed to emerge from Sunday's clash empty-handed, the Liverpool manager is confident the defeat won't prove decisive in the battle for WSL survival.
