Hello and welcome to the third edition of the ECHO's new 'Our Liverpool' feature.
Although last night's television was dominated by the return of Dancing On Ice, it isn't the only television debut to look forward to this week. Merseyside teen Sonny Lackey, is set to join a star-studded cast in ITV's new sitcom The Family Pile.
The 14-year-old schoolboy from Melling said he "still can't believe it". We'll be looking forward to watching his first episode on Tuesday night and wish him the best of luck.

Connor Chapman due in court charged with Elle Edwards shooting
Connor Chapman is due to make his second appearance in court today charged with the murder of Elle Edwards. Chapman, of Houghton Road in Woodchurch, was charged with Elle's murder last week. The 22-year-old was brought before Wirral Magistrates' Court on Friday. Read the full story here.
M6, M53, M56 and M58 motorway closures beginning January 16
Make sure to check before you travel, as a number of sections of motorway will be closed this week. This week there will be weekend closures overnight on the M6, M53, M56 and M58 which are expected to cause delays for motorists. Read our full round-up here.
