In a major development from the 2022 UEFA Champions League final, which saw Liverpool fans pinned against fences and teargassed as they tried to enter the stadium, lawyers working on behalf of 900 fans have formally filed almost 900 claims against UEFA.
An independent review concluded UEFA bore "primary responsibility" for what almost led to a mass fatality catastrophe at the game last May. Reporter Paddy Edrich has been following the story since the showpiece game last May.

Just Stop Oil protestor who glued himself to road calls guilty verdict 'embarrassing'
Wirral's Benjamin Larsen, 25, was among six protestors found guilty of disrupting traffic near the Natural History Museum during a protest in central London. Larsen, who works in forestry and land management, said it was a "political decision" to prosecute him, and said it was "embarrassing" the the UK Government and judiciary chose to do so.
Dad 'fought until the very end' for his kids
A 37-year-old dad who "found until the very end" for his kids died at his home in Walton. Michael Moriaty had been diagnosed with cancerous tumours in how bowel, liver and lung after being first having his concerns dismissed as haemorrhoids.
One of his closest friends said the dad of two "never gave up" during his battle with the disease.
