Sister Natasha said the family were "devastated" by the news and said Natalie is the "last person you'd expect it to happen to." She said: "She's just amazing, she's my rock. She's the rock for us all. She's really inspiring, I don't know how she's dealing with it all."

Bar where trackies are banned wins fight to stay open

A bar in Wirral where tracksuits are banned has won its fight to stay open after attempts were made to close it over reports of violence. The Platinum Bar on Conway Street in Birkenhead had its licence to trade alcohol taken away last year after Merseyside Police opened a review following reports of violence.

The decision was appealed by the proprietors, and now an agreement has been reached with Wirral Council allowing it to remain open subject to "stringent conditions."
