Our House viewers distracted by woman's 'annoying' voice as ITV drama offers major twist

Viewers tuning into the second episode of Our House on Tuesday night had one major gripe with the ITV drama.

As the four-part series intensified with Martin Compston's character Bram Lawson being blackmailed over a drunken hit-and-run, people tuning in couldn't help but notice one actor's voice.

A woman named Wendy (Buket Komur), who Bram met at a pub and ended up sleeping with, started talking to him in bed and went on to reveal that she knows he crashed his car and left someone to die.

Bram tried to deny it, but Wendy manipulated him into confessing to his part in the road accident and threatened to go the police unless he gave her what she wanted.

As the episode continued and Wendy appeared in more scenes, her voice began to really grate on viewers.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer posted: "Her voice is driving me mad. She sounds high or something #OurHouse."

Another viewer asked: "Why is the girl he’s sleeping with talking like a pixie? #OurHouse."

A third person commented: "#OurHouse @ITVcould that daft burd from the pub have any more of an annoying voice?? @martin_compston (sic)."

Another viewer joked: "Bram's such a sh*t, did he even offer that poor croaky girl a strepsil? #ourhouse."

Episode two of the ITV drama certainly ended on a cliffhanger as Bram met Wendy in a diner and explained to her that he didn't have all of the money she had asked for yet.

However, a major twist came when it turned out that Toby was sat beside her as he told Bram: "We don't want £15k, we want your house."

Earlier on in the episode, Toby was seen growing close to Bram's estranged wife Fiona as she tried to come to terms with her split from Bram.

Our House is adapted from the international best-selling novel written by Louise Candlish.

Our House continues Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm on ITV.
