Speaking on Talksport this morning, Martin said: "Yeah, I'm feeling a bit more fragile this morning as I went to my first away game for a while yesterday, it was a class game, and we're still top of the league so all good!", much to host and former Rangers player Ally McCoist's amusement.

"It’s a relationship drama to some extent, showcasing the breakdown of a marriage, and the man I am portraying. His life is just on a downward, depressive spiral in all aspects.
"He puts himself in situations way out of his depth throughout the series, but the show also kinda morphs itself into a thriller of sorts, a lot of cliffhangers a lot of twists and turns throughout."
Martin also spoke about the fact that next week is the 20 year anniversary of the film that set him on the path to stardom, in west coast based film 'Sweet Sixteen', directed by Ken Loach.
Martin added: "If I’d known the scope of what I was involved in, it would have been really daunting, but as a 17-year-old kid who had never acted before, I was fearless.”
Compston will appear at Glasgow Film Festival on March 13 for a special anniversary screening of the 2002 film, alongside the cast and crew that worked on the movie.
Martin's newest ITV drama, Our House, begins tonight at 9pm, and will continue until Thursday, March 10.
