Oscars 2025: Best dressed stars shine on the red carpet

A yellow suit, silver gowns and stars shining bright highlighted the red carpet at the 2025 Academy Awards Sunday.

The 97th annual awards ceremony gathered Hollywood’s biggest stars, directors and producers inside Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater to celebrate the best in film and cinema. That also meant a fashion display as the celebrities arrived.

This awards season red carpet style was an ode to old Hollywood glamour with many stars encapsulating the aesthetic of the 1950s with bouffant hair, understated couture, satin galore, and crystal-encrusted designs. Actors also appeared to forfeit the signature bowtie for dangling jewels.

From Ariana Grande to Timothée Chalamet, here are the best dressed stars on the 2025 Oscars red carpet:

Timothée Chalamet
