An original drawing from "Ribon no Kishi" (Princess Knight) by manga artist Osamu Tezuka (1928-89) was sold for 15 million yen (about 133,000 dollars) at a Tokyo auction on Saturday.

The color drawing put under the hammer by Shinwa Auction Co. in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, has the title "Ribon no Kishi" and features Sapphire, the main character of the manga. It also has Tezuka's signature on the reverse.

This was Shinwa Auction's first manga-themed auction, which also included cards signed by other manga artists and anime-related celluloid sheets.
