Orlando Bloom has spoken out about those naked paddleboarding pics and has insisted that his naked body was 'blown out of proportion'.
The 42-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star has said that the pics were an 'optical illusion' and that he is not as 'endowed' as they made him look.
Orlando was pictured in 2016 with Katy Perry, off the coast of Sardinia, as he paddleboarded naked.
There was much made at the time about his physique, but the Carnival Row star has now played it down and said that he was fortunate that the camera angle showed him in his best light.
Speaking to DJ Howard Stern, Orlando said: “It is really not that big. Things are expanded on cameras with a big optical lens. It is an optical illusion.
“The publicist called to say, ‘That is not the worst of it. First of all there were pictures with a block over it’.
"And you make some jokes like, ‘Have you got a black box big enough to cover it’.
“And then you suddenly realise somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough.
“It’s a triple whammy – photos, black box then no black box.”
Orlando went on to reveal that as a teenager, he used to experiment with marijuana.
He continued: "When I was 16, I experimented with all kinds of things.
"Pot made me really paranoid. I cannot do paranoid.”
