Origami Ant and Decs appearing in city centres across the country

Life-size origami statues of the Bank of Antandec founders will be placed across UK city centres for people to look out for, with Santander current account customers being in with a chance of winning £1,500 towards their utility bills.

Where exactly are these statues located is up to the great British public to discover for themselves and those who are lucky enough to spot the pair will have access to a QR code to enter the prize draw.

The three pairs of limited-edition statues will be on display across two days in the following cities:

· London

· Newcastle

· Birmingham

· Manchester

· Brighton

· Bristol

The presenting pair, winners of over 40 National Television Awards, feature within Santander’s latest ‘Bank of Antandec’ television advert highlighting how Santander are rewarding customers with cashback on their household bills through their 1|2|3 current accounts.

Dan Sherwood, Director of Marketing at Santander said: “The seasoned banking CEO’s Ant and Dec are back and coming to a high street near you; this time in the form of origami. Spot the pair while out and enter for a chance to win one of 30 cash prizes of £1,500 towards your utility bills. You’ll need to be quick as they won’t be there for long.”

Agnes Woolrich, Head of Marketing, Mastercard UK & Ireland said: “We are thrilled to be working with Santander to show how we can find joy in the everyday, who would have thought you could find the nation’s favourite duo made out of household bills? The Santander 1|2|3 Current Account and debit Mastercard are there for everyday moments big and small, giving customers peace of mind when they spend on the things that matter to them.”
