TCU football players were subjected to some interesting taste testing while at practice this past week—and it somehow made eating Oreo cookies seem like a punishment.
Still wearing their jerseys from a grueling training camp practice, players were asked to roll Oreos across a table. At the end of the table was a line of cups. In each cup, there was a different juice/sauce/drink, and players had to eat the Oreo no matter where it ended up falling. Predictably, it didn’t go well.
From the video, it appears orange juice, pickle juice, mustard, milk, ketchup and ghost pepper hot sauce were among the possible options.

Wide receiver JP Richardson said, “I like Oreos, so this might be good,” before he saw the cookie fall into the blazing hot sauce. Still, he took a bite and can immediately be heard saying, “Oh my God,” before running away in agony. Quarterback Chandler Morris also drew the ghost pepper on his roll—and was not a fan of the combination.
“That’s terrible,” he said. “I don’t know who created this Oreo challenge or where it came from—that’s awful.”
Hopefully the Horned Frogs get rid of that bad taste in time for their season opener against Colorado on Sept. 2.
