Orel Mangala says he is excited to play in front of packed City Ground when Nottingham Forest host West Ham in the Premier League this weekend.
The 24-year-old made the switch from VfB Stuttgart last month becoming Steve Cooper's 12th summer addition. He is raring to go after being handed his first competitive minutes in the Newcastle defeat last weekend.
Mangala came on in the last 15 minutes at St James' Park, replacing Lewis O'Brien. And is now expecting more of the same this weekend in front of a lively atmosphere at the City Ground.

"It was a good experience to be involved for the first time last weekend and now we're looking forward to the game against West Ham at home," he told Forest's club media.
"[I'm] very excited. I heard about the atmosphere and have seen a lot of videos, so I think it will be a crazy atmosphere on Sunday! It's been a nice week, I've enjoyed the training sessions, my team mates have welcomed me very well so I'm very happy to be here."
He is keen to leave his mark on the club as they adapt to life back in the Premier League.
"I spoke with the coach and he gave me a nice feeling for me as a young player it's important to have a nice feeling from the coach," he added. "Nottingham Forest is a big historic club and is now back in the Premier League.
"For me [the Premier League], I think it's the best league in the world so one more step in my young career and I'm excited."
Asked about whether he hopes supporters make a song for him, he said: "I hope, that's my dream!"
