Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood has revealed how the face of an Orc in the Lord of the Rings trilogy was based on Harvey Weinstein.
The actor, who played Frodo Baggins in the Peter Jackson adaptations, spoke out on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast and said that the disgraced movie mogul was the inspiration for the face of one of the orcs.
While it hasn't been explained which orc it is, there is speculation online that it could be Gothmog, Lieutenant of Morgul - who has a particularly deformed face, speaks with an impediment, and is one of the more unsavoury characters in the franchise.
Now, Elijah, 40, has revealed that the mask was modelled around Weinstein's face as a 'f**k you' after he upset some of the cast and crew.

Speaking to Dax, Elijah said: "He had seen these orc masks. And one of the orc masks and I remember this vividly — was designed to look like Harvey Weinstein.
"It was sort of a ‘f**k you', I think that is OK to talk about now, the guy is f**king incarcerated. F**k him."
Weinstein's company, Miramax, originally owned the rights to the Lord of the Rings films and reportedly made life difficult for Jackson.

But eventually Jackson moved on to make the films with New Line Cinema, and decided to get his own back with Weinstein in an underhanded way.
Weinstein was one of Hollywood’s most powerful figures before his rape conviction last year, and is now serving a 23-year sentence after he was found guilty last year of a criminal sexual act in the first degree and third-degree rape.
Weinstein was convicted for sexually assaulting former production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006 and raping actress Jessica Mann in 2013, though he has maintained throughout that all sexual contact was consensual.
