Optical illusion tests viewers' IQ to spot hidden ballerina in five seconds

Optical illusions are a fun way to learn how your mind works and a new one claims to be able to determine your intelligence level.

Some puzzles can point out your personality traits by determining what you see, like oil painting that shows your 'least attractive' quality.

Others measure brain power by asking you to spot a hidden image in a larger picture, like the optical illusion that challenges viewers to spot the hidden wolf in a sea of racoons.

This latest brainteaser, from Dancewear Central, requires viewers to find where the pink ballerina is hiding in a crowd of flamingos, the Mirror reports. Those who can do so in five seconds are said to have a high IQ in the top one per cent - which is pretty impressive.

See if you can figure it out below. If you're having trouble, read on for a hint.

Can you spot her? (Dancewear Central)

As a clue, if you look toward the left side of the image and scan up and down you might be able to spot her face in her pink dress. If this one has proved too much of a challenge and you need a little bit more time then that is fair enough as it is really is tricky.

For those of you who cannot find it at all, we have taken the liberty of finding it for you and you should be able to spot the red circle outlining where the ballerina is hiding in the picture.

She is pretty tough to spot (Dancewear Central)

One puzzle that left people scratching their heads asked viewers to find the correct spelling of the word Bingo in a sea of 221 typos. Those with a sharp eye can allegedly spot it in less than five seconds, but many players said it took them several minutes to find.

How long did it take for you to solve the optical illusion? Let us know in the comments below.
