Optical illusions can trick your brain, test your focus and generally just give your mind a bit of a work out.
And some can even make you see things that are not there, with this snap even making you feel a little dizzy. The green and yellow coloured circular pattern looks as if it is spinning when you stare at it, with the rotating pace picking up if you look into the centre for longer.
The illusion puts both your mind and your eyes to the test, twisting around in opposite directions despite being completely stationary. Which way does it spin for you? Or does it simply make your head into a huge pit of confusion?
Optical illusions can be a great way to put your mind at work and can even reveal parts of your personality.
Further, one group of scientists claim that an optical illusion featuring a face can help determine whether or not a person is suffering from a mental illness.
