Oprah Winfrey has given her thoughts on whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry should attend King Charles' Coronation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex already confirmed they have been invited to the Westminster Abbey event on May 6.
The Royal Family are "fully expecting" them to attend but it's not known if they will actually be there due to tensions within the royal family being at an all time high.
After the release of Harry's memoir Spare earlier this year, in which he detailed some shocking allegations about his relatives, it's reported that it's left a strain on some of their relationships.
Prince Harry is likely to return to the UK for the coronation alone as Meghan isn't "brave or strong enough to be there", according to one palace insider.
Former royal butler Paul Burrell claims that the King has kept the moral high ground by inviting Harry and Meghan after their revelations in recent months. The 64-year-old added that it will be "incredibly uncomfortable" for them to reunite with the Firm at the Coronation in May - if they decide to go.
A total of 2,000 people will be in attendance at the event but Harry and Meghan could stay at home in California with kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet because of issues raised after the release of Spare, and the fact that the event falls on Archie's birthday.
Previous tensions came from Meghan and Harry's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, who has now had her say on whether she thinks it's a good idea for them to attend the Coronation or not.
Talking to Gayle King on CBS, she was asked by the US chat show legend: "Do you think they should go, do you think they should not go? Is it something you'd like to comment on? I'm listening."
Oprah replied: "I think they should do what they feel is best for them and for their family. That's what I think.
"That's what the bottom line comes down to. What do you feel like is the right thing for you?
"They haven't asked me my opinion. No they have not."
During the 2021 tell-all interview with Oprah, Harry and Meghan spoke about their split from the Royal Family. They also revealed there had been "concerns" over the colour of their son Archie's skin and said Prince Charles, now King, had stopped taking Harry's phone calls.
Meghan said she had felt suicidal, but was not allowed to get help, and the pair also revealed they secretly got married before their royal wedding, and announced they were expecting their daughter in the summer of 2021. In July of this year, it was reported that palace aides were running scared of the Sussexes causing “another world of pain” and playing the victim in a second bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
Some viewers agreed with Oprah's comments about the Coronation.
One person tweeted: "I agree. At the end of the day, whether we want them to go or not go to the coronation; it is ultimately their decision and not ours. I will support whatever decision they make."
"I agree Oprah! They should do what feels right for them as a family. Not an easy decision- tough place to have to make such decision," added another.
But some said she sounded like she was trying to distance herself from the pair.
"Sounds like Oprah is distancing herself with this comment," someone tweeted.
Another replied: "I like how Oprah was very clear, 'they haven't asked me… my opinion.' So in other words, whatever they do, I have nothing to do with it. Gail an Oprah have this whole conversation rehearsed. lol"
While a third group of people claimed none of them should have been talking about the situation in the first place.
Hitting back, one social media user replied: "They haven't asked for your opinion? So why give it? The Royals are none of your business."
"I think it would be great if @GayleKing and @Oprah stopped expressing their opinion on the 'family business' of the royal family and our monarchy," agreed another.
