OPINION - Tech & Science Daily podcast: New twist in DNA discovery

There’s a new twist in the tale of how Francis Crick and James Watson discovered the structure of DNA.

It was commonly thought that Rosalind Franklin’s X-ray diffraction image, known as Photo 51, was illicitly shown to Watson, revealing to him that DNA has a double helix.

Professor Matthew Cobb from the University of Manchester explains the evidence he has unearthed which suggests this was not the case.
